Does anyone know when Goong 2 will come out and who will be in it: Chaegyung, Yul, Joo Ji Hoon?

As a matter of fact, they already aired a sequel, called Goong S (甓丼) last year. The storyline doesn't follow the original Goong though; it's a completely different story, with different characters. In the sequel, Se7en (靹鸽笎), Huh Ijae (項堨澊鞛?, Gangdoo (臧曤憪), and Park Shinhye (氚曥嫚順?.

Personally, I didn't enjoy it that much. But then again, I stopped watching after a couple of episodes. I'd check out veoh.com if I were you . :D

plans have been cancelled.. i think. since none of the original casts could make it.

First of all, I want to clarify that "Goong S" IS NOT the sequel to "Goong". This has always been an issue to people who don't really read the producer's interviews or comments.

"Goong S" is totally a differeny drama, just with the same PD as "Goong" and basically, almost the same KIND of plot.

Second of all, it's been more than a year since news came out about the intended "Goong" sequel; however, Yoon Eun-hye is no longer with Eight Peaks and so it's more difficult to get her to go on board. The other cast members have other plans so they do not have time for the sequel. I think "Goong 2" is permanently cancelled or inevitably stuck in the planning stage because they want the original cast, but those people are not willing. So...we have a dilemma.

If they ever get around to filming (which I doubt because it's been more than two years since the filming "Goong" and no news has come forth regarding "Goong 2"), if might be with new actors & actresses and that's not going to go well with fans. >_<
