Is Korea as high tech and clean as Japan? |
My friends told me that it's almost identical to Japan, and has changed over the years! I really want to go to Korea but getting a visa there is really hard and I think I have to wait at least 6 months. I'm half Korean and half Japanese living in California and been to Tokyo and Kyoto many many times and love it! yes korea is very nice and clean in some big city areas. but every city got bad areas that look like a dump why dont u ask korea genuas! Honestly I've only been to the Tokyo airport but I have been to Seoul twice and I love it. I think it's such a fun place. I keep on hoping my husband will be stationed there again and get to bring the family. The people are so great. Japan is much cleaner than Korea. People in Japan don't use their streets as a dumpster or toilet like they do in Korea. I went to Seol, Korea and Tokyo, Japan this last summer and they were both great places to visit. I would say Tokyo is a lot cleaner than Korea but I think it's hard for any country to compare to Tokyo's cleanliness (there are people handing out napkins with ads in them about every other block). I think Korea compares to parts of Los Angeles and San Francisco in cleanliness. As high-tech--yes. As clean--unfortunately no. The air quality is much worse in Korea and if you expand your inquiry to include noise pollution then it's not even close. If clean air is important to you but you still want a vibrant city life, I strongly suggest you give Busan a try. It's quite similar in many ways to San Francisco, and the quality of life is vastly superior to that in Seoul in my honest opinion. You just won't have nearly as many options when eating out. korea is very high tech country similar to japan i think, I guess I am repeating what others have said.. I lived in TOkyo and yokohama for a few years and now I live in seoul. (I am AMerican) Japan is hte clear winner in cleanliness.. No we are not high tech and clean. we are like very fun and love country, not robotic. you know wot I mean? hmmm/ur korean and japanese?did ur mom and dad ever fight about that WWII thing?i wanted to go to japan is it nice?how much did it cost to go to japan, cuz i'm korean, but i'm afraid people might hate me in japan, because of that whole thing about WWII which part of Korea;; theres north and south I have never been to either, although my brother has been to Japan visiting family friends that live there. He described it as being very clean and an extremely wealthy area. And from the pictures I saw I believe that to be true. USA |
