I feel sad after learning a boxer has died due to the sport. Do you think boxing should be banned because of the sport's violent nature and body injury potential? Don't you think a sport should prompt good health instead of hurting or injuring health?

My friend is a boxer comes out with his face all swollen up. I don't like to see people hurting each other like animals. It's not right. I think boxing should be banned.

Boxing is dangerous and many boxers have died, since boxers don't really got protective gear and they get hit in the head many times, especially in the temple. I really think it should be banned, just look at other sports like karate, kick boxing, those sports aren't that dangerous. My opinion about sports prompting health to people is that it always be any help teaching them how to defend themselves, get stronger, more endurance.

Yes, I think it's a sport past its time. Plus, there's so much corruption in it today --- you may as well watch WWE since you know that's fixed.
But, then again football (real football, not soccer) is a violent sport and I would hate to have it get banned.

More people per capita die in car crashes, plane crashes, influenza, swimming accidents, blah blah blah. Why not ban all of those things?

It is not like the people involved are being forced there by gun. And if you say they are being forced by socio-economic pressures... so what? Better they get pushed towards boxing than other possible outlets of aggression or money making ventures.

As far as it being past its prime goes, laws of supply and demand will be the final judge on that.

Grow a pair bro, boxing is awsome. Two fighters face to face with nothing but will power and heart to gain victory. Maybe you should watch ballet instead of boxing if its too violent for you.
