What does S. Korea look like?

Mostly, very pretty.

It's ~70% mountainous, so expect lots of hills everywhere, though not so high. 4 seasons, so beautiful autumns, and pretty cherry blossoms in the spring. Cities are pretty densely populated, so lots of blocks of apartment high rises, but also some old buildings still standing (centuries old!) or restored. Tons of lit signs on the more-travelled streets (nearly covering the whole side of buildings!). Lots of people. In the countryside, very green with lots of rice paddies.

I will tell you easier what it does not look like: every episode of M*A*S*H*.

Things are busy and fast. Not as beautiful as Austraila but not as boring as there. Dirty than Austraila but a lot more cleaner than China.
