I think Korean actress 鞚挫榿鞎?Yi Young-Ae looks nice. (She was the star of the Korean historical drama 雽€鞛リ笀 DaeJangGeum and she's also a cosmetic model.) She's getting kind of old, but still looks graceful.

Not all Korean actresses had the plastic surgery 鈥?I think perhaps 50% did. By the way, it鈥檚 true for actresses from other countries also, not just Koreans. In general, most (not all) actresses鈥?popularity is based on their appearances so many are going through surgery (or some sort of physical corrective procedures). Did you know that if you had dental braces as a child, it鈥檚 considered as cosmetic alteration?

ANYWAY, as far as I know, plastic surgery is really popular among Chinese鈥檚 upper middle class right now... partially because they have money to do it and partly the 鈥減erfect鈥?beauty will get a better job. The point is that the cosmetic surgery is no longer associate with celebrities 鈥?it鈥檚 popular among general public, including non-Asians.

Yes, it鈥檚 unfortunate but prettier girls do get a better job (assuming that they also have a brain) and better suitors than the average looking girls... in any country... and more so in the developing countries. Think about it 鈥?who do you think a corporate executive will give a higher mark to if the same work was done by an average looking entry level associate and the supermodel look-alike entry level associate?

Regarding the pretties Asian female celebrity, I think Hyo-lee Lee, http://english.tour2korea.com/02Culture/... is the prettiest and as far as I know, she didn鈥檛 have any cosmetic alteration.

few corrections i wanna make here...
somewhere around 50% of korean celebrities actually got plastic surgery... but then again, who doesnt get plastic surgery these days? all developed nations gets it! i can name many american, chinese, japanese, european celebrities that had at least one part of their body/face done. plus, south korea compared to america, europe and japan has a really low plastic surgery rate.
anyway, i dont kno if Song Hye Kyo got plastic surgery but if u look at her elementary school pictures its really hard to think she did...

i think Younha is the prettiest... (so far as I know of, she didnt get any plastic surgery...)
