Never been there. However, many Japanese journalists are entering into North Korea even now.
I can watch the pictures of her country AT LEAST a few time every month.
Because Japanese medias/journalists, and NGOs for abduction victims are working with some South Korean journalists to reveal her real country to the world together.

I think, possibly, getting pictures regarding North Korea in Japan is more easy than South Korea civilians.
You will understand the situation in the films even though you don't understand the language.

yeah... sometimes they do invite diplomats to go in their country for very special reasons.. they even allowed the un to go inside there..

it is not very strict than before. but if you are not a south korean chances are you are not going to get in there. south koreans have better chance of getting in there but it is still difficult..

well, some can go if they want.
North Korea has a mountain called KumKang and people who wants to visit there can go JUST the mountain. You are not able to see how people lives there and cannot tour around.
but ambassador or a president or somewhat related got invited from the North government will be able to go INSIDE..

now.. South and North Korea governments are trying to settle plan for the tourING North Korea.. but I don't think that will happen.. lol
