South Korea - snowfall in February? Ski resort recommendations, particularly in Seoul and nearby areas?

Are there ski resorts in Seoul? Will there still be snowfall in the urban areas or would it be only in the mountain regions? We will be staying in Seoul and would prefer a ski resort nearby or someplace that is just one or two hours away, since we do not plan on staying overnite. But if there are none, we will consider other resorts (kindly indicate average travel time by land from Seoul).

i don't think there are any resorts in seoul itself, and if there were, they wouldn't be any fun. farther from seoul is better, because the mountains will be bigger, and (possibly) fewer people will be there. i went to the closest one to seoul (i think), Bear something, on a national holiday. TOO CROWDED and facilities weren't great (no bunny slope!!). though if you're good and can handled steeper slopes, then i hear crowding is not an issue. i think the most famous resorts are a couple hours away from seoul. wish i could remember some of their names now... i heard Yongpyeong is really nice, but it might be too far. Hopefully someone else will have better info :(
