Visit seoul or japan?

Visit seoul or japan?

Try visiting both Korea and Japan. You'll notice that even though the two countries are close in distance, each culture is unique, so it will be worth the shot exploring as you get a taste of both cultures.

if i had the chance to, i would prefer japan...

I spent 7 years in Japan, and 4 months in Korea.

Japan is your best bet.
You really cant go wrong in Japan, regardless what you want to do.

i would prefer japan...they get all the video games first.

Japan of course u could say "watashi wa < your name> desu " and other nice japanesses sentences <lol> ;]

why not both?

I would love to visit Seoul, but Japan is the better bet.

Both are great to visit.

However, the Japanese government is despicable as they will still not formally apologize to the Comfort Women that were sex slaves to Japanese soldiers during World War II.

I would recommend Japan. It's just more tourist friendly than Korea.

seoul.

this question irritates koreans.

both

do both if you can! they're so close that plane tickets aren't too $$ and if you want, there's a combo-ticket thing where you can combine the bullet train with a ferry-ride and go from seoul to tokyo without even flying! :D

there's probably info on that at the Korean National Tourist Organization website:

http://www.tour2korea.com/

but if you're on a budget, korea's cheaper than japan. and it's easier to eat rice in korea...they use spoons for that! but eating anything else...korean chopsticks tend to be stainless steel and (*i* think) therefore harder to get and keep a grip with, so i think japan's got them beat on that tiny point~~
