Interesting facts about Seoul?

I need these facts to fascinate a friend that I'm trying to get to visit South Korea for her vacation in the summer because I know she always wanted to go there, but right now she's wondering if the trip is worth the money. I did look up on my own but didn't get much facts, and my friend wasn't really fascinated. LOL.
(Oh yeah and if you're wondering why she wanted to know the facts, we compromised that if she was interested in the facts I showed her, she'd go.

If you speak Korean, could you translate this into Korean?
At 22,300,000 people, Seoul is the 3rd largest agglomeration (mega-city) in the world.

Thanks!

Seoul is extremely safe in terms of crime rate - theft and muggling really do not happen that much here.
In fact, Seoul is one of the safest big cities in the world along with Tokyo and Singapore.
Seoul is much much safer than NYC, LA, Paris, London, Sydney or Toronto.
Seoul can be a great place for those who love nightlife, clubbers and night owls, because you can often see a woman walking down the street alone after midnight.
The stores are open until 9 PM and there are many 24/7 convenience stores as well.
Believe me motels are very decent for their prices and yes they are quite cheap.
Seoul has a fantastic public transportation system - buses, subway lines that run until midnight.
Taxies of Seoul are way cheaper than those of Tokyo if you avoid black ones(called Mo-bum Taxi).
Finally, Seoul has a variety of scrumptious street foods that are to die for.

Here goes the Korean translation for you:
"At 22,300,000 people, Seoul is the 3rd largest agglomeration (mega-city) in the world."

"22,300,000氇呾潣 靷瀸霌れ澊 靷姅 靹滌毟鞚€ 靹戈硠鞐愳劀 靹鸽矆歆鸽 鞚戈惮臧€ 氚€歆戨悳 雽€霃勳嫓鞚措嫟."

Very clean, many many high rise buildings, very modern like Japan, good food, great night life, Hyori =], etc.

You could just say that Korea is pretty much like Japan minus the Japanese people.

Save your breath. The trip is not worth the money. Go check out Malaysia or some country that actually wants and welcomes tourism.

And where in the heck did you get the 22 million figure? Last I knew it was 14 million. Wherever you are getting those numbers must have used a generous boundry instead of the strict confines of Seoul tuk-byol-si.

I think a good selling point would be visiting the DMZ. Also, Everland is great!

The last statistics I read there were 14 million people is Seoul, but is a crowded city really a reason to want to visit?

Korea is not like Japan, in my opinion. Japan is much more developed and advanced.

best things about Seoul are Autumn (Cherry Blossoms, beautiful colours etc) the food (Korean BBQ) Cultural aspects in terms of the palaces and tradition and the fashion (dongdaemun) which is an amazing place for cutting edge fashion

for good hotel deals check out http://www.roomfetcher.com really good deals for Seoul
