What is a reallllllly good korean MOVIE?

I've seen and loved...

My Sassy Girl
Classic
100 pound beauty
100 Days with Mr. Arrogant
Seducing Mr Perfect
Art of Seduction
( in that order...)

I don't perfer romantic comedys, im ready for anything! (:

If you like war movies.. I recommend
"TaeGukGi : Brotherhood Of War, 2003"
Or..
I recommend "The Host,2006".
Both movies are very famous and they recorded the most popular movies.

I like the one with the USS The Pueblo. Especially the Hawaiian good luck symbol scene.

!!! SHIRI !!!

check out romance d'amour

maybe its an obvious choice ~ but, Oldboy/鞓摐氤挫澊 is my choice for a good Korean movie.

M.

Old Boy, The Host, Brotherhood Of War, Tajja (High Rollers/The War of Flowers), Joint Security Area, Memories of Murder, Shiri, My Private Tutor, Make It Big.. etc

Korean movies are great!

Sad stories
-Stairway to heaven
-Sad love story
-A love to kill

Romantic/comedy stories
-Full house
-Witch yoo hee
-My lovely samsoon
-My girl
-Lovers

Many many more actually!
enjoy,x0x0

My ultimate favourite --- Autumn In My Heart or known in some countries as Endless Love.

Great story line, makes you cry real bad and handsome actors :D

Please Teach Me English!

It's a really good movie.. one of my favourites. ^^

You have too many Ls in really. I haven't seen any Korean movie that good.

But my favorite was Oldboy.

I'm not a fan of Korean movies but I thought "Fly Daddy" was pretty cool...

Well, there are a ton of good movies... (Starred ones that you should watch especially)
OldBoy (A must watch... The ultimate... You need to watch this to be culturally literate...) (Oh yeah, also Sympathy for Lady Vengence and Sympathy for Mr. Vengence is part of this trilogy) ***
Shiri*
Friend*
Brotherhood of War*
The President's Last Bang
JSA*
The Way Home
The King and the Clown
The Host
Welcome to Dongmakgol

Recent (2007):
Milyang (The lead actress in this won Best Actress at Cannes...I haven't seen it yet)
Voice of a Murderer (I loved this movie.. It's based on a true story about an anchorman in the 90s whose son was kidnapped. He and his wife are tortured by phone calls from the kidnapper and time and time again, he is successful in fooling the cops. He misled them, took their money, and killed the boy eventually. The reason I love this movie is not only is the plot interesting, but also the acting is brilliant. The actors who play the parents really capture what it was like...) (Seventh biggest box office hit but third out of just Korean movies)
May 18: Also based on a true event that happened in Korea... Student protestors were put down violently by forces... Shows one of the most gruesome points in Korean police brutality... The third biggest box office hit this year but second out of just Korean movies)

These are mainly like kind of serious/deep movies which to me, are the really good movies, but here are some others:
My Tutor Friend
My Wife is a Gangster
My Girl and I
Ssunday Seoul
Mapado
Typhoon
D-War
This Charming Girl
Road
Green Chair
A Bittersweet Life
The Magicians
Marathon
Unstoppable Marriage
April Snow
Tazza
Sad Movie
Feathers in the Wind
Little Brother

I've seen almost all of these movies and they are all really awesome! ^^
