Why japna more usccess than korea?

They are both successful, but a brief breakdown looks like this in three key areas:

1) Japan is still stronger economically.

2) Korea always dominates its Japanese counterparts in boxing.

Tiebreaker:
3) Korean women are hotter than Japanese women.

Korea is more successful than Japan.

Well the Japanese know how to spell.

Because Japan bombed the hell out of Korea and left it in ruins when is occupied it for 50 years. But don't worry, Korea has caught up a lot and in some respect has surpassed it. The two countries do depend on each other a lot. No matter how much they hate each other. Japan needs to open it eyes to the past.

Really? Are you asking this? The departure from your normal rhetoric leaves me a little stymied...
Anyway, if you seriously want to know... I would challenge whether or not Japan is currently more successful. I think it depends on what you measure.
I will say this, Japan had an easier time industrializing than Korea did. Part of that would have to go the fact that immediately after the war Japan was forcedly democratized by the US. Korea had to go through those growing pains on their own.
Of course, what Korea managed to accomplish on their own in 50 years is absolutely amazing.

Well, the Korean War occurred about ten years after WWII, so Japan was beginning to rebuild and industrializing when Korea was fighting its war. The Korean War actually helped fuel Japan's economy a lot. Since Japan was located in such a strategic position, the United States bought a lot of their materials from Japan to take to Korea and fight.

If you look at Japan and Korea, both nations were extremely vigorous about rebuilding and reestablishing themselves after their nations were devastated by wars.

A lot of people also claim that Japan is more innovative than Korea.

I think it's important to note however, that even though Japan is "more successful", South Korea is still one of the top economic powers in the world.

(If you are are comparing it to North Korea, then it's North Korea's government, namely it's leader Kim Jong Il, that has caused the nation to fall so far behind Japan and the rest of the world.)

because what im about to say uncle boom explained it in a very respectful and delightful way. japan kicked the sh*t out of koreans and looted the whole country. so, with the loot still available to start them off even after getting their *** whiped by the americans. they were able to rebuild while korea had to go hrough another war amongst itself, witch we know as the korean war that still divides the country.
