Problem with Driver.?

I'm teaching, and there's real divisions between teachers, and now the driver is having payback, like he shows up late, takes another route without asking/telling you about it causing a delay. He doesn't talk anymore and puts headphones in his ears, pretends he doesn't hear, drops me off before a class 1 minute before the class starts, which is not enough time to organise anything. Today he phoned me, then when I answered he hung up without saying anything. I feel like a dog.
There have been a couple of verbal fights in the van too.
People are not being treated right. We were asked for our pin numbers at the bank, so they could bank our money, and I was asked for all my bank accounts and pin numbers in my home country!!!!!! OMG!!!!! red flags!!! He's having problems with others and tends to pay back the nearest western face.
????I heard from another teacher that he doesn't trust the driver anymore and takes alternative transport home.

That sounds like a really ugly situation. These are the things I would recommend doing:

1) Take alternate transportation.

2) Don't give ANY bank account or PIN information.

3) Begin searching for another job.

There are too many good teaching jobs in Korea to have to put up with that mess.

I would like to add to vmans post that you should also put those little cigarette popper things in his smokes. Those are hilarious.

Don't feel any obligation to the contract or anything. There are plenty of decent places that treat you well. I have met a lot of teachers that love their jobs.

Sadly, you are dealing with a normal way for an old Korean man to express himself.

Have you actually tried to talk to another Korean teacher about this? Why haven't you spoken with your liaison?
