I have six weeks vacations in february is it better to visit kenya or tanzania or mozambique , or all of them? Kenya for sure! With six weeks, I would at LEAST go to both Kenya and Tanzania. If you have time, then by all means include Mozambique. Take all of them if you have the maney to spend on such a great tour. Kenya for two weeks then follow down path to Tanzania and then Mozambique for the last two weeks I hope you will have a great time. Help on such a tour can be abtained either in kenya tour operators or Tanzania. Kenya has the best holiday packages among the three countries. The number of attractions is very high, quality of services in hotels etc much higher than the others, and from Kenya, you can easily go to Tanzania if you need to. please start with kenya whatever you do go to kenya the people are lovely the weather is beautiful and youll remember how it feels to talk to a kind person when youve been to kenya they are hospitable and it comes from the heart visit kenya go all of them . Wow ! I will advise you to stay in Kenya, In Nairobi. From here, you can have many excursions to the Nairobi National Park (just 5 KM away) visit the Museum in Nairobi and see the fossils of some of the oldest modern human ancestors, Drive for 1hr to Nakuru National Park and see over 2 million flamingos..wonders! Then drive to Maasai Mara and see all the big five and the wilder beasts. The best points about Nairobi is connectivity and comfort. Many places now have Internet access and you can keep in touch with ua family. You can also fly for 30 minutes to the Kenyan coast and feel the warmth and hospitality of the Kenyan People. You can also hike to Mt. Kenya... the only ice capped mountain exactly on the equator line... then you will know why the Agikuyu tribe believed that the mountain was the foot-stool of their God. For six weeks, you can visit all the three countries. Make Kenya as your base - from here you can do both Tanzania and Mozambique. There are a lot of unique attractions in all the three countries. For more details feel free to contact me on xkcox@yahoo.com . I am a tour guide / consultant based in Nairobi. I organize safaris around eastern and southern africa. Six weeks is a lovely long time which will enable you to visit both Kenya and Tanzania and explore both the wild life and the coastal resorts without rushing about too much. But for a complete contrast, why not fly over from Nairobi or Dar es Salaam to Madagascar? It is not far and it will introduce you to a country which unites Africa with the Far East, from where many of the people originate. It would give you a chance to see wildlife of a totally different nature from that which you can enjoy in the East African game parks. if you can afford all three, do it! sounds like you will have a great time |
