Short stay accommodation in Nairobi?

I am planning to stay from November 1 to 30 in Nairobi. Can anyone recommend a place in a secure neighbourhood where I can find a place to stay for not more than 20,000 ksh or 250-300USD?

No decent hotel accommodation will you get at that bracket budget. You would rather rent a house in estates like Buru Buru in Nairobi's environs but also the cost of catering come's in and rise the budget!!
