Will we see wildebeest in Kenya in February?

Planning a safari holiday in February and would like to see wildbeest. Will they all be in Tanzania or do some remain in Kenya throughout the year

Nothing is guaranteed on a safari. I went to Kenya in early April and saw vast herds of them. It's in the same season so I imagine you will see them. I went to Tsavo (East and West) and it was truly amazing. Take a really good camera, your bino's, sun screen, a hat and dark glasses. If you're staying in the lodges remember there are no white lights after dark so the animals will come nearer to the lodge. Have a wonderful time.

I went to Kenya in february this yr for the 1st time and it was a holiday of a life time, it was amazing and we are hopefully going again in June next year. We went to Tsavo but i can't remamber if it was East or West but we saw wildebeast. We also saw a cheetah and that was such a sight. Also remember it isn't about the money you pay. Some friend we met went for only 1 day and saw Lion eating there dinner and catching it. We went for 2 days and didn't see that. But remember there is only so many times you can go 'orrr look at that' at the same animal you saw a minute ago. You aren't guaranteed to see any animals of such fascination but the whole experience is mind blowing. I would recomend this place thoroughly. Enjoy your trip!!! Don't take anything new on safari as the orange dust stains!! And it gets really hot so be safe!

Yeah on every smelly stinking street

It all depends on the Game parks you are going to visit. I presume you will visit Maasai Mara, if so you wont see the migration but you will definitely see the Wildebeests. Not all of them cross over to the Serengeti, thousands still remain in the Mara. Especially this year there was a change in the migration pattern since some of the herds started migrating back to the Mara really early, as early as October - No scientific explanation has been given yet for this early migration.
February is a good month to visit - you will certainly have a great safari.

Yes, you are guaranteed to see wildebeest in February. Many will have migrated to Tanzania but we have herds of them who are residents.
