What is the official annual inflation rate of Kenya?

31-August-2007: Excise duty imposed on beverages during the budget and additional taxation on plastics are among the factors that have contributed to the rise in the cost of living in the last one month, investment analysts responding to the latest data from the Central Bank of Kenya have said. The CBK data says inflation and the measure of consumer prices rose by 18 per cent between June and July to stand at 13.6 per cent annually.
