How does Yahoo answers?

How does this yahoo answers work, i mean how do i use it to my full advantage

Hi...it depends on what kinda questions you wanna answer...if its baout food then you'll find it in a seperate category, clothes, etc etc etc i prefer preganacy, relationship and Kenya. Simply because i feel i know alot about these. So you basically igve your best. a note of advice its very adictive, and you can come across down right rats, especially in the Kenya forums. I'm not sure how it works really, different ways for different people I Guess. Whether it is to our advantage is altogether another thing! only if we get serious answers to our questions and do not get idiotic answers back does it work to our advantage.

Well, it looks like you are using it to your advantage. You have asked three questions in the Kenya section and hopefully you will be provided with the information that you were hoping to receive. Unfortunately their is a point based system, so in order to continue to ask questions you will eventually need to generate some points as well. To do this you should go to an area where you have some expertise and answer a few questions. Each answer will provide you with 2 points, and if your answer is choosen as "best" you will be rewarded 10 additional points. In order to recoup some of the points that you lost by asking the questions that you have asked so far, then when you are provided with a good answer it is probably best if you choose it as "best answer" as this will return 3 points to your account. Another way to get points is to "vote" on the questions which are not choosen as best. Each vote will award you 1 point for your role as a judge of the best quality answer. The more points you gain and the higher the level that you become then the more questions that you can ask.

There are two ways that you can use Yahoo!Answers. You can use one or both:

First: You can ask questions that you cannot answer yourself or you can ask for other people's opinions and suggestions about things.

Second: You can answer questions that other people ask in order to help them. If you are knowledgeable in certain subjects, then you may want to go to its category and answer questions that others have asked.

You could also read and search for other questions that have already been answered.
