maybe there is no network..or...yahoo doesn't have services in nairobi...i don't know..but try the land line...

I live in Kenya and my boyfriend calls me all the time using Yahoo, so you should have no problem. There are also good, really cheap internet cafes all over the city from where she should be able to call you. There are even a couple of coffee shop cafes with free wireless internet, so she could yahoo you, too. The main mobile provider in Kenya, Safaricom, also just lowered its rates to call internationally, so really there's no reason she can't call.
