What jabs do i need? |
i'm going to ghana in feb for 2 months and i need to know what i need and when i need to get them done? your question is in the Kenya section. however it is probably the same jabs for both countries. Tetanus, Typhoid, Cholera, yellow fever, malaria tablets too. The vaccinations you require can be found on this site: beech7wood2000 has given some sound advice. You may alternatively want to take a look at http://www.masta.org/ and http://www.fitfortravel.scot.nhs.uk/ for vaccination info. First is the yellow fever jab which takes ten days after injection to be active, then the others will depend with where exactly in Ghana and which diseases are common there. You can visit the Inoguration Centre at city Hall where they give the jabs, advise you on which are the best and also issue the WHO certificate to show you have been vaccinated. Chorela vaccine is also highly advisable. |
