Are there many cockroaches in tenerife?

i have heard tenerife has loads off cockroaches i wondered if this was true because i really cant stand them an i am off there in june

depends where you staying in older buildings yes there are ,but you can get spray , don't let that put you off your though , trust me you won't remember them when you come home ,you'll just remember a great time you had

I went two years ago and dont remember seeing any at all !! i would have probobly cried

I was in Tenerife 3 years ago and yes, there were "cucarachas". I cannot stand them neither! they were everywhere... including the bungalow we were staying in (a suppose 4 star place). Maybe someone who does not pay attention will not notice, but I do and it was horrible.

They have them in every country I know, but I've never seen any for years and I live in Spain. I've been to Tenerife which is Spanish. I would just forget about them and think of your holiday.

You mainly only see them in August when it's really hot, so don't worry. And if you are staying in a hotel you'd better not see any either. Enjoy yourself, although Spain has cockroaches like alot of other places don't concentrate on that, they are pretty harmless although look disgusting.

I went to Tenerife but i didnt like it cause the beaches arent real and there werent any good place to go. Justo go Gran Canaria, i think its better

Yes. lots of them I think is due to the kind of climate, hot...hot...hot..that is a heaven for roaches.
