Taxi fares from Las Palmas airport, Gran Canaria? |
Can anyone tell me what the current going rate is for a taxi from Las Palmas airport to the resort of Arguinegan, (Anfi) Gran Canaria? About 45-50 euros. Just back as I visit Arguineguin regularly. Anfi is not really in Arguinegin tho, more Patalvaca but ask for anfi del mar & the driver will know where you want to go. Alternatively you can get the bus, number 91 DIRECTO & it will be about 6 euros. The journey will take about 40mins whichever way you choose 1500pesatas I don't know but I think its quite a lot now they have gone over to Euros. I have to be honest i dont know the cost, but what ever you do, do not book it through your agent. you will find they charge a fortune. We went to Menorca a couple of years ago and the taxi fares ar standard through out the island. we asked the rep when we got off the flight how much for a taxi rather than the bus they told us 拢50 !!!!!!!! we got in a taxi and it only cost 拢20 the gits from the airport wanted to charge us 拢30 in their pocket for the trouble.. THE LAST TIME I WAS THERE IT WAS 拢3O TO PUERTO RICO THAT WAS TWO YEARS AGO. YOU CAN GET A BUS FROM THE AIRPORT TO ARGUINEGAN, AND THAT ONLY COST A COUPLE OF POUNDS, THERE IS A GOOD MARKET IN ARGUINEGAN ON A TUESDAY MORNING. why dont you jump on the bus outside the airport its cheaper you make the fixed price with the cabby before you set off or you will get ripped off |
