The information Canary Travel gave you is correct. I live in Gran Canaria Puerto Rico and checked with reception.
If you did not know the Eden is not in the main town but top of the hill overlooking the sea and mountains.
You are in walking distance of the Europa Centre where you will find many bars restaurant's and shops.
To get into town there are buses which are very cheap and of course the taxis which will cost you 3 to 4 Euro.
If you plan to do any distance by taxi get a price first, ask a few drivers to get a good price some will say price will be by the meter( clock ) this where you get ripped off.
Taxi from or to the airport should be no more than 50 Euro, although some will want to charge up to 80 Euro.
If you need transport to or from the airport telephone Sharon +34697782028 I believe her price is 35/40 Euro.
