What's the best stuff to do in Tenerife?

I haven't been to tenerife for years and I'm going back for xmas and new year. What is there to do i.e water parks, theme parks, best nightclubs etc?

I live on Gran Canaria and visit Tenerife on occasions.
There are so many things to do try this site for ideas www.abouttenerife.com If you are staying on the south of the island the clubs and night life are in Playa Las Americas on the Veronica Strip but beware of pick pockets and don't wander off on your own.
Loro Park is worth a visit and is great for all the family.
Try hiring a car soon fall into driving on the other side of the road get yourself a map normally you can pick them up free from Tourist centres and clinics and tour the island you will be surprised what there is to see including the over a thousand year old dragon tree. Food and drink away from the tourist areas is very cheap and of good quality a meal should not cost much more than 6Euro.
Change your sterling when you get there you will get a better rate

All of those things are there and much more ,just turn up and enjoy if your young and like a lot of noise and night life go to Los Americanos,If you want a good nights sleep but be close to the action ,then go to Los Christianos.

we went to a great zoo in the north somewhere thay have everything and is a really good day out

Swim with dolphins! Expensive though, otherwise you can just go on a boat trip and see all the dolphins and whales out in their natural habitat! That was my fave thing in Tenerife!

just go up in the mountain! or just hang on the baech... you can also go the neares island of tenerife las palmas....

I went last year at Christmas with 10 of my mates and we had a fantastic time, we didnt go to any of the water parks as we wasnt up in the day but the nightlife is great and they have new clubs there now like Bikini Beach and so on.....Brill!
