Recommend me good club/discotheque in Jakarta?

no dangdut club please

Wow a lot, there are practically many new clubs mushrooming in Jakarta. But the posters above have mentioned the popular hangouts in Jakarta, but here are my 4 suggestions:
- Red Square (Arcadia Mall, Plaza Senayan Annex). It's supposed to be the Russia Ice Bar, offering the best vodka and Russian food in town.
- Retro (Crowne Plaza Hotel)& Embassy (Taman Ria Senayan) Two of the older clubs in Jakarta. The classics.
- Dragonfly. It's the hottest place to be seen right now in Jakarta. Very expensive, nice decor.

check out "STADIUM". every taxi driver knows it.

It is a drug disco.
they even dont have a cocktail bar, just beer and water (and ecstasy).

but you will have a lot of fun there.

the one in Hotel Mulia Senayan.

"Embassy" would be on top of the list. It's in Taman Ria Senayan. I think some other clubs also exist there.
I heard X2 and Vertigo are also nice. They are in Plaza Semanggi.

If you are a Caucasian, there's one place that is suitable for you. Go to "Red Square", it's located at Plaza Arcadia, at the back of Plaza Senayan, It's a small place, very packed on Friday night.

X2 (at Plaza Senayan) is good as well however they're a bit picky when it comes to dress code. If you're not properly attired, don't expect to get in.

So what is your music?
Jakarta host lots kind of music. X2 (plaza senayan) and vertigo (plaza semanggi) host house music (except when there is foreign dj spinning), embassy (taman ria senayan) host trance. Centro (dharmawangsa SQ). there are several new club like "pure" but it's not stand to the test of time yet. other places like Dragonfly (bip building gatot subroto) and across it... "blowfish" host electronic music but i would call it bars. just like red square and all.
