Bule's in Indonesia, why do u genralise that all indo women like u, infact 90% of indo women wouldnt marry u

Well, i was researching Jakarta, as i will be spending a few days there, and it seems that Jakarta is a magnet for damaged good or second rate western men, aka Bule. Do these guys realise that the indonesian girls that chase them tend to be prostitutes? and that most Indonesian girls are repectable and have honour, Dont these bule's feel shame that in their home lands their ugly, dumb, and poor, so they go to a 3rd world country where $30 is a weeks salary, in order to massage their ego's. Why would a real stud have to travel 1000s of miles just to get laid? and Bule when a u see a guy that the girls like coz of his look and charm, why do u always resort to counting your money? BULE'S IN JAKARTA ARE WESTER REJECTS., THEIR INTELLIGENCE IS LOW, THEY TEND TO BE UGLY, AND MOST, HAVE NOTHING

I'm not sure. But from what I've found so far in many shopping malls, most of westerners males are accompanied by Indonesian females who look like housemaids (dark skin with overload cosmetics). Maybe they've found those type of women are exotic. Or probably, westerners are just bored with white skin. Or maybe they just have low level of taste about woman.

Bules (foreigners) in Indonesia generally think that Indonesia women like them because of the widespread advertisements in the cities with Western men and/or women. This has been brought about by the mere thought that anything Western is perfect or nie - a product of Colonial Mentality - especially after being olonized extensively by the Dutch,

In fairness, only some, and not all, Bules in Jakarta would have nothing to do with the worsening prostitution and that they are only there for sightseeing or business purposes.

The remedy would be to promote Indonesian-looking men and women as models and stop idolizing Indos (Mixed Dutch-Indonesian) so the bules will finally realize that Indonesians really value what is theirs.

As a foreigner who has lived in Jakarta, I know a few westerners married to Indonesians (Western men with Indonesian wives and Indonesian men with Western wives). The people who I knew were all very well educated and some of them didn't meet in Jakarta or even in Indonesia.
There are Western men who go to impoverished countries in order to find women. These are generally men who have decided that American woman can't recognize what a great catch they are so they will find a delicate Asian flower who will wait on them hand and foot. There is a very common misconception that all Asian women are submissive and will do whatever their man will tell them.
I fully agree with you that these men are losers, but you should add that they are also racist. Their reasoning in looking for an Asian woman comes entirely from outdated beliefs about society in Asia.

hmm i guess it works both ways for them, those old bule probably tired of western women and their attitude and those ugly indonesian women maybe just want their money (altough they`re poor in their country but what their not so much money can get ALOT of things in indonesia to pamper those girls), who knows :)

90 % agreed. most of the foreigner, not just Caucasian (mark my words,most of them, not all of them) are eventually 3rd class, low mannerism. that's also why a lot of Indonesian feel that bule is actually "brengsek" (jerk). when i was in the states, i met a lot of very fine gentlemen and ladies. so different then the one i encounter back in the world (Indonesia) even tho like i said, not all of them... there are actually fine Caucasian gentlemen and ladies trap here for i don't know why, humanity perhaps.
before the economic collapse in 1998, a lot of fine caucasian expatriate in indonesia... but after that... only the bold and daring dare to stay in Indonesia because of the news etc. so the new comer is.... mostly....

sad but true. i'm here in Indonesia because the only empty post is here in Indonesia. i'm getting good salary and all the facility tho. big house with swimming pool, driver, nice car and maids. things that i could never ever afford back in my country.
about the girls, i can notice which one is pretty which one looks like pembantu. unfortunately it is so hard to get the pretty one to bed, maybe that's why. i have indonesian girlfriend. she is pretty and rich :)

And u know what's just as worse? These girls who think they're so hot and all that when they're with a bule. I mean come on, wake up and smell the bums!

sorry to hear that.But, sometimes bules themselves want to get laid :P. Don't care what their jobs. And sometimes think that they are like a " king ", just because they're different " white, blue eyed, charming ect ". But who knows, they're just nothing in their own country.

so,why you think they travel thousand miles away ?? Of course they wanna have good treatment that they don't have in their own country. :D

Anyway, wherever you go, you'll find the same thing ( even Thailand ). So, don't think only Indonesians are like that.

Anyhow to answer the asker's question. In the family I married into, it's the other way around. My indonesian husband's family is rich I guess (by Indonesian standards). My sister in law who isn't that pretty.. (sorry but it's true) married a somewhat good looking 3rd class Belgian.
I know there is now way he would have wanted her otherwise.
I guess her money keeps is what keeps her in power over him..

As for me (in case you are curious) my american family is pretty well off; and not to be snobby but I've been told that I'm hot.. LOL and my Indonesian husband is handsome too..
So we compliment each other.. Although his family is a tad bit more on the richer side I have made a life for myself and don't need his or their money.. ;)

I'm from US and have been to Jakarta. I also think those losers who are looking for spouses in Indonesia do not understand that Indonesian women are majority moslems. According to local law in Indonesia, if the woman is moslem, when married, the husband has to turn to moslem as well. I don't think most American want to turn to Moslem religion after what happened in New York in 2001.
