What are some good places to eat in Kuta, Bali?

Heading over to bali in december, just wanting to know some nice places to dine.. staying in south kuta don't want to venture to far out of Kuta preferable

warung made seem to be everyone's fav and i agree with that it has variety of food from indo to western even chinese. id like to recommend another one which is my fav as well it called "dulang cafe" located just in the centre of kuta square the area of shopping and dine just close to kuta beach they have many kind of entree main and dessert and sitting inside or outside the resto and watching people passing by..i like the scene and foods are excellent. another fav one is "black canyon" located in the discovery shopping mall just at the back of the mall .go there at afternoon and sitting outside facing the beach ,coffee and waiting for the sunset really stunning! and start the dinner ;) food are vary price is reasonable, its worthwile. esc in legian st also a good place to dine 3 storeys with great ambiance. ifiori a great food and nice view overlooking the mall from upstairs. food are great located just in front of the discovery shopping mall.
"kudeta" located in oberoi-petitenget a bit further from kuta but its worth it especially if you enjoy a more up scale fancy dine this place is at top choice!

there are many restaurants with good places for having meal, lunch or dine. Let say what kind of food you need, because many international cuisine are available in this area. Many people go to Kudeta at Seminyak, Gago-Gado Restaurant, Macaroni in Jalan Legian, Pandan Restaurant in Kartika Plaza street or Warung Made specialist for Indonesia/Balinese Cuisine. Just do it simple, that asking to the local people or taxi driver they know all the above place.

I definitely recommend "Warung Made" which is located near by Legian, it's got a lot of varieties of Balinese and western food.

If you'd like to try out Indian food, try "Gateway of India" which is located at the corner / junction of Kuta and Legian. It's a small family restaurant with delicious Indian food. The others are pretty basic there.

There are a lot in Kuta area, but. I agree Warung Made's my favourite place.
