How do you rate Bali today despite the bomb blasts and terror threats that lasted a few years ago?

Well, for me it was still great. I used to go to Bali almost every year with my family. I really love to shop there and enjoy dinner at Jimbaran with great atmosphere, watching Kecak dance at uluwatu, seeing dolphin at Lovina Beach, or just hanging around Kuta or Legian. I've visited almost all tourist spot (Tanah Lot, Bedugul, Ubud, Sukowati Market, etc.) And for me as an Indonesian, I love Bali, it's still safe for me. And even if I go alone from the airport to my hotel with taxi, for me it's perfectly safe. After the bomb blasts and all I think Bali is almost going back normal, but not all. Like when the last time I visited Bali zoo with my little brother, it is written near the ticket booth how they really need more donation for the animals etc. I like Bali zoo, the garden is beautiful. From 0-10 I rate it about 8

stay away.bali is just not safe anymore,it not the balinese fault.just the radicals in the country.check out our foreign affairs website.

Theres so many other places to go to which are so much safer. Why go Bali?

I think it's still great! I went only recently, in June with my family to Seminyak and also Ubud up in the mountains which was great. I find it relatively safe....we try to help the baliense people in contributing to the sad loss of visitors and money. It's a great place, it has transformed back into a great holiday place, my judgement or rate of it is no different to then it was before the bombs, etc. It is sad yes, and many people are scared to visit but I have no worries, never feel nervous about going there and just try to have a good time! I found it nearly 100% safe when I went and all my friends are still visiting with their families to the wonderful country. :) Don't fear anything if you are worried, just keep your bag locked, keep to yourself, try to be brave, get pass it, stay safe and hopefully just try and put the past events and everything that has happened behind you! :)

How do you rate New York? despite the 9/11 or London? despite the bomb threat and the bomb. i guess it's the same
