Easy to find a hotel in Bali?

Anyone knows if it is easy to find a cheap hotel in Bali without booking in advance? How much it gonna be cost? And which area of the beachs are nice in Bali?

it mainly depends on the season.

During peak season (July - September and around Christmas / New Year) it could be hard.

In the "low" season, no problem. And you'll be able to bargain too...

Cheap Losmen could be 10/15 US per night. For that a room woth a fan (no AC) maybe hot water but not always.

For the beach it depends what you like.

Surfing in Kuta beach (beware it can be very dangerous to swim there)
Diving in Amed,
Sanur for swiming
etc...

in general, yes it's easy for walk-in guest in bali. how much? it depends in the area and the season. during peak holiday season in kuta beach area will cost you at least 100 usd, but hey you don't need to stay at the beach area, do you?

all beach in bali island are great. to name the area a few: kuta beach, sanur, seminyak (great for evening beach outing) and lovina & menjangan island beach in north part of bali.
