How much is the taxi fare in Bandung?

From Husein Sastra Airport to Hotel Gumilang Sari, Jln Dr. Setiabudhi... and
From the hotel to City Center, distance(minutes) & taxi fare...

if you want to be certain... take BLUE BIRD GROUP TAXI
flag fall is Rp 5000,- around 55c. Bandung in the weekend is packed. super. so might cost a lot if you get stuck in traffic.
Setiabudhi to Alun Alun(city center) is around 30 minutes with semi traffic jam.
Blue Bird Group Taxi has fair meter and fair driver.

Last time I visited Bandung, it doesn't have taxi with meter. So you have to bargain if you wanna take taxi.
But for the route you mentioned, I think the fare is about Rp 50,000

If you must get a taxi, get a Blue Bird taxi - they're the best in town and the last time I check... they're the only one that use meters.

Distance... I'd say about 5-8 miles give or take (7-12km). If you're afraid of the cab driver pulling you tricks, basically the route is pretty simple and only on bigger roads only. There is only one left turn in an intersection just some time after you left the airport and there'll be no turning in an intersection afterwards.

Yes almost all taxi in Bandung doesn't have a fixed price...it would be better if you look for Blue Bird Taxi....but if you can't find it, just go with gemah ripah...you can ask for a bargain for the fare...maybe around 50 thousand rupiah to go to your hotel...and i think the same to go to the city center... ^^ are u going to Bandung for vacation or business?
