Is it possible to visit any of the battelfields from the Vietnam War? |
Would like to go there and see things from the war. Anyone know? Yes, it is entirely possible, especially if you're a Vietnam-ere veteran. You can contact the Vietnamese consulate and arrange for a guided tour, in fact -whether or not you're a veteran of that war. The Vietnamese have long since moved on, and actually love to have Americans come visit. My wife's employer, based in Manlius, New York, just opened a high-end furniture factory in Ho Chi Minh City, matter of fact. Products from that factory are available in the U.S. now... Report It just like the cu chi tunnel, they'll let you experience all those crawling and living down there plus handling and firing weapons of that era, wear rubber tires sandals, see the different forms of booby traps and etc. they hv tourist tours now - so take a plane to hochiminh city and get hooked to a travel agent and u will see everything. i guess you have to ask vietnamese people in vietnam region from these yahoo answer, for they will give you better answer then the people here. after all Indonesia is not Vietnam.... just in case you don't know. |
