Loyalty takes time. Be loyal to Indonesians, and they will be loyal to you too. Most Indonesians are not conniving backstabbers.

aks them to go climbing or mountaineering with you.
in the mountain, money has no value. then you'll know which one loyal friend and which one is in it for themselves.
but be warned... loyal friends is no easy to come by... doesn't have to be in Jakarta.. in every part of this world. they are scarce now days
