How much cheaper is it to book hotel rooms from Jakarta airport booths,?

Hi, im coming to jakarta, heard that the airport booths offer best hotel rates, ive been quoted 1m for a room in Shangrali from their website, how much cheaper would it be by booking at the airport, and also can i negotiate?

the best rate is to buy voucher from travel agent.
in Jakarta, you can find good one when dealing about this is PASOPATI in hayam wuruk. you can get almost 40% off.
Internet and airport does not promote anything when you talk about hotels in Jakarta or Indonesia. Why don't you try you traveling agent? and compare the price to the one in the web?

U mean Shangri-La Hotel? It's 5 stars, of course it's expensive.

Am not sure whether those airport booths could get you a cheaper rate. I prefer to book directly to hotel. Therefore u can directly negotiate as well :) U could try by being very very nice to the hotel worker/reservation person :) :)

Sometimes you can get cheap prices from Jakarta Airport booths. Some times you'd probably get the normal price.
But I strongly suggest you to take the offer from the airport booths. They do have great bargain, sometimes up to 50% discount.
