Help.. Flying and Terroists,?

I am flying in a few months, but i have a fear of flying due to terrorists, what can i do to get over this?

It is safer now than it has been since 1937 aand the Graf Zeppellin. There are so many undercover air marshalls, so much security, so many screening procedures, your checked luggage is x-rayed and never left alone once checked, they've airport patrol dogs trained to smell out 15 different explosives, there is bio-recognition scanners in airports to detect know bad guys.
You are safer to fly than taking Amtrack

thank goodness someone else feels like i do. Have you got a long journey or can u go by ferry. I am going to ireland soon and would rather a 15 hour journey than go on a plane now. Think i would need a bottle of wine or 2. Good luck. My fingers will be crossed for you. anne

terrorists are not a problem. how many planes have been hijacked in the past 10 years? 5 or 6? And how many flights go out? A few thousand each day! the odds are like winning the lottery that your plane will have a terrorist on board. And security more or less makes it impossible nowadays

Well. I am only 13, and I'm not afraid of terrorists...
Have you Ever been in an airport? See the security? They make you take off your shoes, and the metal detector.
Plus, to prevent hijacking if one somehow DOES get thru, they have Air Marshals that look like normal people, but they have guns to shoot the terrorist.
