Motion Sickness. Please Help!!!!?

Ever since i was a little kid i wanted to be a pilot. I have signed up for lessons and i took my first one today. After takeoff, i started to feel really sick and the whole flight was horrible. I felt sick the entire time. Then to add to that, later on i vomited. i have told my self i will be a pilot no matter what it takes. What can i do to eliminate the sickness and continue on with my dream?

I am a pilot and I understand the way you feel, although I never really had motion sickness, only anxiety. A non medical way for some to combat motion sickness is as follows.
You can buy special wrist bands with plastic buttons on them. They provide pressure points to prevent motion sickness. Some people swear by it, while others do not.
Eat Ginger before your flight. They say it prevents motion sickness. Saw it discussed on a TV show.

You can also take a medication like Bonine. Heard from different people they prefer it to others on the market.

Lastly, I want to say, that motion sickness can also be brought on by anxiety. Going on your first flight in a small airplane can be very stressful. So try to relax. You will get familiar with the airplane and its motion in the air. This alone may help your motion sickness.
