Drive.Help.Drive?

don't tell anyone, but i have a fear of driving.
i took a 2hr driving class i did okay, not horrible.
i want to take this expensive class and have the instructor take me to take the driving test to get my L's, or i could have my dad take me up there in his raggidy car, that i don't have much practice in.
i don't know what to do..and i'm way too old to not have a drivers license, and my temps expire jan.18.

i'm nervous.

. Yup, it's natural to be scared of strange activities! About the only way to conquer the fear is to become familiar with the activity. Like the first Poster said, get your dad to take you to an empty parking lot, maybe 6AM at WalMarts, maybe with some half-filled plastic jugs to drive between, and go for it! Slow and easy.
Practice makes, ah, ....

Find a large parking lot of a company that is closed on the weekends like a college & drive around this parking lot starting, stopping, parking, backing out of parking spots till it becomes second nature. Driving is like anything, if you do it enough you won't even think about it you'll just do it.
