I'm scared to go outside afraid that I might be mugged or robbed?

I know that I have nothing to worrrry about live in a safe city but I'm still scared? Have you ever been robbed at gun point?

No but maybe you need to go talk to a professional.

The fear of going outside could lead to bigger problems and no one wants to become a hermit.

You need to function like a normal member of society - please go see someone and help yourself. Do you want to live a life in fear?

I live on a beautiful street in Boston, adjacent to the Ghetto. We have the most violence and shootings in Boston.

If I was scared to go out, I would have a real issue!!! chin up man - go out for a walk! Get some mace if you need to!

I have had earrings snatched from my ears. a chain snatched off my neck. I have been in a McDonalds as it was robbed by gunpoint. I live in Bedford Stuyvensant Brooklyn, New York. Also know as Bed-Stuy DO or Die!!!

So I do know your fear but if I let my fears take over me I would not be able to live the good life God gave me. Don't be a shut in. Enjoy life!!!

I hear what you are saying.... but you might need to talk to someone about this, so that you can get on and live your life and find ways so you can feel safe whilst out and about, I was like this and ended up with anxiety and panic attacks every time I left the house, ended up having councelling, i now go out and only have minimal anxiety. So maybe a bit of councelling night help you.
