Where to keep prescription drugs while traveling on greyhound bus?

I just have my bottle with my name on it and my ID, no papers or anything. Which would be better, in the carry on or on the main luggage? Another thing, how is the security for greyhound?

The thing is that I don't necessarily NEED the medication. It is classified as a schedule II and if I'm correct, they check carry-ons.

Keep them with you in your carry-on luggage. See link below under "Prohibited Items for Checked Baggage."

depends on the medication. Any narcotics or emergency medictions should always be with you.

Doesnt matter if they check your carry on and find that as long as your name is on the bottle and you have I.D. but i doubt they would care they r only worried about dangerous stuff

Your best bet to keep them with you don't leave medication anywhere that you can't get access.

Regardless of traveling on an airplane, boat or car, the best place to keep your medications is in the original Rx container on your person (or handbag that you carry with you at all time). It is too easy to get into the wrong hands and have (say, a baby) find it and swallow it. As long as you carry at least one form of ID on you, it should be permissable.
