Is spring break even safe?

i just watched the real cancun movie, and have done some research. everybody!! is telling me mexico is currupted, and hate americans/canadians and is very dangerous. I was wondering if Cancun is a good place for spring break? which areas arent? i wanna go to a place where its VERY crowded with spring breakers/tourists, because it feels safer. Thanks,any info is really helpful

Cancun is very safe for tourists and so is the water as long as you are drinking it in the resort area. The plumbing is very good, but if you feel more secure, just drink out of bottles. If you visit the ruins, that is when you need to be careful of what you eat as well as what you drink. No salads, fruits (unless you peel it yourself), and NO ice cubes. But if you're going for spring break, just make sure you stay in the resort and the only people you need watch out for are your drunken partier.

it depends on what part of mexico you are in. you should be fine in cancun, because there are so many americans there...dont drink the water though. the bananas there will mess u up too. stay away from the border. just be careful. use a condom if you know what i mean.

Lol, mexico is safe, im white and speak no spanish, and i have always gone to mexico for spring i have been to many cities and got drunk.
