How culturally diverse is Hamburg? |
Just want to know. Oops. Sorry people. Yeah, in the arts, ethnicities, etc. You know, how does it compare to other large cities in the rest of the world. Hamburg is pretty damn amazing if you ask me. But what exactly is your question referring to? I lived there for 19 years, so maybe I can help you if you get a little more specific :) If you want real diversity, check out Berlin.........oh man yuk. Fishy. It smells fishy. In my opinion (I'm German) they have an upper class and a lower class, and little in between. I like the multicultural intermingleing in Berlin so much better, and I grew up in Bavaria (and live here again), so I think I can compare, on some reasonable basis and personal experience. Hamburg is currently run by a gay Jew - its representative in the Euopean parliament was born in Turkey. The leader of the free democrats is also gay - Hamburg has more immigrants than all other states but Baden-W眉rttemberg and Hesse. ( Twice as many as Berlin) Hey walton don't understand your question? What do you mean with culture ? music --- theater you will find in Hamburg everything you want on a high level. Hamburg is the city with the most jazz clubs in the world just behind New Orleans. |
