Going to Guadalajara?

I am going to Guadalajara this spring and I wanted to know if anyone knew of any cool things to do while i'm there. If anyone knew of any really good resteraunts and where i might find them would be helpfull to. Also i don't speak alot of spanish and wondered if the majority of the city speaks english, since its such a big tourist spot?

You will have a great time! One of my favorite restaurants is Santo Coyote. There is a great Italian (La Tratoria) and also an Argentinian (sp?) place very close to Plaza del Sol. I can't remember the names, but ask anyone in the area there and they can direct you.

Most hotels will have english-speaking staff, but it is really 50/50 everywhere else.
