Are internet wireless air cards available in Mexico, particularly Guadalajara? Since the GPRS frequencies for Mexico are the same as those for the US, you should theoretically be able to use a card you find in the US. I believe the problem you might run into is that you will need to register your device with the service provider in Mexico (which is mainly Telcel) and if your aircard is locked to AT&T or T-Mobile, you may need to buy a different aircard to be able to hook up to Telcel. Telcel stores are everywhere in Mexico and that's where you would find a wireless air card in Mexico to use with your PC or other portable computing device. most lickely they have basically the same things as america(ipod mp3s laptop) all that good stuff. You can get anything in Mexico. Many people say America is the land of freedom, in Mexico you can get anything with money, I mean anything. Wireless are for free in most of Hotels, universities and restaurants in Guadalajara. yeah, infact, it'll more likely be in Guadalajara because it's urban and industrial. |
