Job market in Guadalajara?

What is the job market like in Guadalajara? Good or bad? Available jobs?

The job market is like anywhere else...It is what you make of it. If you speak decent Spanish and are a go-getter you should be able to fine something. Word of warning: the pay might be as low as $1 or $2 an hour depending on what you want to do. Big companies and reputable employers will want to see that you have permission to work in Mexico from mexican immigration. This will not be easy to do being a foreigner, unless maybe you have a hookup perhaps with a US company looking for a transferree. You may want to go independant and do something in tourism or as a language teacher or interpreter. Good Luck, GDL is an excellent choice and I highly recommend it!

Non existant for non Mexicans
