Which pubs in Glasgow would you recommend? |
I know Glasgow has a rough reputation so I need suggestions for pubs that are quite, pleasant and we can drink there with no trouble. You must visit the horseshoe bar, the best pub in Glasgow ( Scotland !!! ), drury lane near the central station. Excellent karaoke upstairs, . afraid i cant help with the gay bars. O'Neils in the Merchant City is a nice pub with a good atmosphere. Waxy O'Connors beside Queen Street station is also good. Not sure about any of the gay pubs, although I'm sure they will be ok. most pubs in the city centre are OK and cater for most tastes Glasgow's reputation as a rough city belongs in the past, Glasgow is now one of the friendliest cities in the world and officaly the "Happiest place in the United Kingdom". |
