Yes lots of people live there. I've driven through there a few times. There are always people around when I go throught there.

Yeah, that's where the big Cabela's store (sort of a Bass Pro type store). It is not a big town though. As for strange names, Michigan has stranger. Hell, Paw Paw, etc...
Some people think Flushing is funny, too, but I grew up nearby so it is normal to me.
