Does anyone know whether California is a good place to live? Thanks people =]?

Well, I've lived here all my life, so my answer would be it's the best if you can afford it. I live in the Napa Valley and homes start at $450,000 and gas is now $3.50 a gallon. Taxes are high. On the plus side, the weather is great. We have snow if you want snow, we have many mountains and lakes and the ocean. We also have one of the best National Parks in the world, Yosemite, besides many other national, state and county parks. What else can I say about the golden state.

I have friends in Southern Ca. I would move there tomorrow. Climate, pace of life...friendly people.. what more could you want?

California has the 7th largest economy in the world.

Mountains, oceans, rivers, lakes and deserts and low humidity woot. avg temps 39 F- 100F.

I guess, as long as you don't reside in the area that's slipping into the ocean.

Born and bred California Native....It has been good to me but I'm moving to Hawaii within the year.....
