Where is the best place to visit in the usa?

i am thinking about visiting the usa for a month and would like to visit atleast three different states. which ones would be the best to explore?

i have never been hunting so would appreciate reccomendations for that. but generally i would like to get as much in as possible...beaches, nightlife, sights, history, trekking. i guess im asking for states that have the most to offer over a broad range.

You could try Logan Utah. Beautiful Logan Canyon has something to offer for all seasons. The good thing about Logan is it鈥檚 not a resort town. Beautiful Bear Lake is about 40 miles through Logan Canyon. . Bear Lake is half in Idaho & half in Utah. This area is close to all three sates Utah Idaho Wyoming. Which have every kind of outdoor activity you would want for any season. In a short drive through the High Uintas Mountains on the Mirror Lake Highway you would pass through all three sates in a few miles. You could stay in Bear Lake area of Montpelier Id very reasonably. This is about halfway between Logan Utah & Jackson Hole Wy. Which is a resort town. If want to go hunting big game you would need a out of state hunting permit. In the fall Wyoming has a reasonably price pronghorn hunt for out of state residents.. If money is no object SE Idaho has good big game hunting also. Of course the activity depends on the season you visit but it doesn鈥檛 matter. The area has ski resorts for winter activities or Bear Lake for the summer. By the way Yellowstone Park & Grand Teton Parks are within a 200-mile drive from Logan. I must warn you a month wouldn鈥檛 be enough time to take it all in.

Could you be more specific ? What are you interested in ? Mountains ? Beaches ? Cities ?

go-go

1.Florida-try Miami, it has the night life & the beaches, or Ft Lauderdale for a more relaxed visit, or maybe even the Florida keys
2. New York City, Chicago, Philadelphia, or Boston. You need to hit up a big city & try some great street vendor food.
3. Grand Canyon. You will be amazed. Period.

If you are going to the West try California (LA - Films, Beaches Horse riding in the Rockies, San Diego - Sea World, San Fransisco - Alcatraz ... also visit Yosemite National Park beautiful!), Nevada (Las Vegas - unlike anywhere else in the world) and Arizona (Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon) in that order. This three states should give you a real taster for America and that's just the start.

Texas is a big State and well worth seeing so is Virgina another beautiful state with Washington DC the US capitol and great scenery.Make sure you check out the following restaurants for

Dinner: The Outback Steak House, Tony Romas Ribs, Sizzler (for the sheer novelty - worlds largest salad bar).

Breakfast: Cracker barrel, IHOP.

My top 10
1. Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming
2. Grand Canyon in Arizona
3. The Gulf Coast Beaches
4. The City of Chicago
5. Yosemite National Park in California
6. San Francisco
7. Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota
8. Lake Tahoe
9. Las Vegas, Nevada
10. Memphis, Tennessee

James P. is onto something when he says you may enjoy a trip through California, Nevada, and Arizona.

California has it all; sandy beaches with bikini babes, rocky, foggy beaches with Redwood trees, Hollywood, Disneyland, beautiful mountain scenery in Yosemite National Park, wine country, and the desert with giant Joshua Tree yucca.

You could experience a little bit of everything America has to offer without leaving that state. However, some people want to see Vegas, and others just have to visit the Grand Canyon, which is why I also mentioned Nevada and Arizona.

I would fly into LA, drive up the coast as far as San Francisco, then head inland to visit Napa Valley and Yosemite, cross over into the desert throught Death Valley and head to Vegas, then Grand Canyon, then back west across the desert. You'd see it all.
