Is Wisconsin a good place to live? |
I'm thinking about moving to Madison, Wisconsin after I get out of college. Can people who live there please list the pros and cons? Madison, WI has been voted numerous times as one of the best places to live in the U.S ... but then again, it depends on what you're looking for in a city. Only if you like the packers. Ok my firend lives there and all i have to say is there is absolutly nothing to do there. Its the most boring town ever. If your a small town boy maybe you'll like it. But if your looking for a place with a bit of substance then madison, wisconsin is NOT gonna do it. Also the people are very boring there. All they do it sit around and drink beer. my brothers live in green field and love it!!!! they do say that it is very cold ther in the winter and that they get a lot of snow but in the summer it is not bad. it is beautiful i think i went there last feb. and i think, that was fun good luck!!!! I've lived in Wisconsin all of my life. It is a great place to live, not only for the change of seasons, but the people, food and attractions are great. We've had plenty of opportunity this year to ski, sled and build snow forts with the kids. We are looking forward to spring. May through July is especially nice, not much rain and not too buggy. We have an awesome zoo, great pro sport teams and great museums. We live about 10 minutes just outside of Milwaukee, plenty of shopping and great restaurants! as a minnesotan, i dont think wisconsin is great. there is nothing to do, if you live in the cities in minnesota, there are a lot more job and housing opps. wisonsin is full of serial killers and hicks. |
