Is there a way to book a vacation and pay it in installments? |
me and my future husband are planning a honeymoon. but with all the expenses we are having with our wedding we would like to book the trip but pay it in installments. is this possible i tried online but none of the major travel websites have this option. Yes. My travel agent had us put down our deposit and the rest is due in march but we were able to what we could through the year. Well...sort of. Some cruise lines will do this, but the bad news is you usually have to be paid up by the time of the cruise (more like lay-away). Since honeymoons don't have to cost an arm and a leg, you may be able to get a loan (maybe even a deferred loan) from your bank or credit union. The thing not to do is charge the entire honeymoon on a credit card. If you want to go to an all-inclusive resort in the Carribean, contact the property directly. The travel websites don't have any interest in financing your vacation, they're just after their cut of your booking. Good Luck! My wife and I book our summer vacation in January, and in Febuary we pay about 1/4 to 1/5 of the reservation and each month we pay the same amount until it is paid(normally by June) so this way all we have is gas and meals and entertainment. While on American Airlines website I saw a link about paying in installments. They travel all over the place. They also offer vacation packages: combo of air, hotel, car. |
