American Airlines? Your experiences? Please list both Pros and Cons. Out of 10 (1-terrible to 10-awesome)?

well they're a lil expensive, but after flying southwest (Oh LORD!!) for years, AA is a breath of fresh air. The take-offs and landings are wonderful (that's a big deal for me when I fly cause I tend to get scared during these parts) they have REAL food, and great in-flight service and they fly to a lot of places. And the flights are always smooth. I just trust them more than no frills airlines

American Airlines is my main airline in this mid size city. Ive lived in LA and used them then too.

Pro- Ive always been happy with their service. * I like their www.aa.com website for choosing the flights, cheapest cost, and connection times.

Con- Ive never left the airport thinking there must be a better airline etc.
Of course, you have delays due to weather, but that would happen with any of them.

I've flown better airlines and I've flown worse. Personally, I try and stick with Air Tran. They usually are one of the cheapest, I've only been delayed once and that was due to weather (I fly about 6 round trips per year) and their planes are always in good condition.
