I am planning a trip out west...and i am trying to decide? |
which way i would enjoy the trip better...drive or fly? i have 14 days, and am going approximatley 2000 miles. If you have the time to fully enjoy everything you see, then drive. everyone should see the Grand Canyon at least once in their life flying is funnier Amtrak drive, that way you will see more! if you like driving, drive! ok, tell me later fly! For a relaxed trip it will take at least 3 day there and 3 days back. There isnt that much to see along the way, trust me, i have made that drive a couple of times! Save the 6 days to do something relaxing on the west coast. The drive would be great think of all the places you would get to see and visit in a airplane you will see the place you leave from and the place you are landing This is my suggestion. Fly to San Diego, Drive from San Diego to Las Vegas (5 hours) From Vegas drive to Los Angeles (5 hours) From LA go to San Fransisco (8 hours) From SF take a couple days to visit Yosemite park. Drive back to SF and fly home. It all depends on your finances and the weather, of course your vehicle being dependable heIps too. I have made many trips alone on the road and you have to plan. You see the ground and what's on it, up there in the air is so boring! |
